"He was alright, I like my men warm. My parents would probably freak too, its what they do best." she giggled and watched Tonks put on the hat. They had to of looked like two mental patience who'd escaped or something. Tossing hats around. This was fun! Letting loose and forgetting about the evils of the world for just a moment. It was nice. She knew just as soon as they stepped back out onto that street it would be all too real again. "Shoes!" she sang out like an opera singer. Her hands out in front of her. There wasn't a big selection but what they had was great.
"Is it possible to be addicted to clothing, I think if so, that I am. Makes me happy..." she sighed and ran her fingers over a pair of knee high leather boots, they looked like some that were meant for Quidditch playing. Big thick soles and chunky buckles down the sides.

Tonks snorted with laughter yet again. Jane always brought out her giggly side, and that was a side of her that had been depressingly quiet of late. Too much doom and gloom in the world, and this afternoon off might prove to be exactly what they needed to cheer them both up.
"Yeah, can you imagine how cold his feet must be? You don't want that in the bed with you!" She hooted with laughter at the thought and gave Madam Malkin a cheery grin. The poor woman must think them both mad.
"Glorious shoes!" Tonks chimed in, striding towards the shoes with Jane. She looked at the pair Jane was admiring and made ooh face. "Ooh... black leather and buckles. Is there any better combination? Other than green and leopard print, of course..." she added with a giggle.

She thought about the cold feet in bed thing and shivered. Dutch ovens were bad enough, who needed cold tootsies; amongst other things, in the bed. "Leopard I have to say.. I've never been brave enough to wear." animal print always made her want o go out and get frisky. Who knew why, it just did. She was what she wore.
"Go look in my closet and it all looks the same, black and then some more black." she mumbled while pulling on the boots. Smirking when she caught Madam Malkin eying them then looking back down at the shoes. Pulling her pant leg up and standing. "I guess if I ever plan on bagging a man, should dress like a girl... sometimes." she said absently. Looking at her butt in a floor length mirror, it looked bigger in these shoes, or this was a really awesome mirror.. "Does your man got any cute friends?" she grinned. Joking but kinda serious.

Tonks raised a shocked eyebrow at Jane's confession. Never. Wears. Leopard. Print. That was a crime against style in Jane's book. Every woman needed a bit of the she-wolf to come out every now and again, and leopard print was an ideal way to do so in Tonks' opinion.
"We shall rectify this, and soon!" Tonks declared, selecting a plain black cloak with leopard print lining. She handed it to Jane with a grin. "Ideal way to work some leopard in without people knowing straight away... Surprise 'em when you go for your wand!" she said with a laugh.
She shook her head. Remus had once complained that looking inside her wardrobe gave him a dreadful headache. It was such a riot of colour, all shocking pinks, vivid greens, reds, yellows, blues, purples... there was sod all black or white or brown in there. The few items she had were key pieces that she could pair with something a little crazier. Tonks had a bit of the old school London punk to her soul... she believed in fashion being something for bigwigs with too much money, but style was something to have fun with, and she did this with wild, clashing colour and pattern combinations that bizarrely enough worked.
"Mine's a shocking sight first thing," Tonks said with a grin. "It's a bit bright..."
She had to laugh. "You kidding me? You were passed out in an alley and you had a sexy vampire drooling on you. You don't need baby pink and frills to be a girl, trust me. Besides, you're a big pile of hotness... you'll bag any man no problem, innit!" She meant her words, they weren't just idle flattery.
She grinned at Jane's question. "If Sirius was still around, I'd introduce you. You two would have gotten along well... but sadly enough, Remmy doesn't have many friends at the moment." She frowned, thinking about how the only "friend" Remus still had was a servant of Lord Voldemort, and the crappiest, most awful little rat bastard you would ever have the misfortune to meet. "But seeing as Remus has let us down with his acute lack of hot mates, we'll bring you out clubbing some night. I know a great club in Islington... Muggle place, but crawling with hot blokes. What do you say?" Tonks added, forcing Peter Pettigrew from her mind.

Jane takes the cloak. Apprehensive at first. Then she twirled it around and fastened it around her neck. When she looked, it was just like any other cloak but as she flicked the side open; as if it would when taking out her wand, there was that pop of leopard. "Oh I like it!" she said with surprise in her voice. The bit of spice in her stark outfit made a world of difference. "Totally getting this, we've got to go shopping together more often." she laughed. Never in a million years would she have picked this up.
"I'm sure it wasn't mah body he wanted." she mumbled and with the mention of Sirius she frowned just as her friend had. Of course she never got to know him, and there was that very public view on him. Being accused of murder and all that. Since then she'd gotten bits of the truth about him. He seemed like a really great guy. "Shame, that would of been great." she sighed. "Would love to go clubbing though. If and when we ever get an entire night off.." which was far and few between these days.
She handed the cloak the Madam Malkin to hold. The boots could wait, there was still alot of shopping to do. "See anything you like?" she looked around at the racks and shelves. Tonks' style was so different from her own that it was tricky to pick out something she knew she'd like.
