Here's how it is: The Earth got used up, so we moved out and terraformed a whole new galaxy of Earths. Some rich and flush with the new technologies, some not so much. The Central Planets, thems formed the Alliance, waged war to bring everyone under their rule; a few idiots tried to fight it, among them myself.
I'm Malcolm Reynolds, captain of Serenity. She's a transport ship; Firefly class. Got a good crew: fighters, pilot, mechanic. We even picked up a preacher for some reason, and a bona fide companion. There's a doctor, too, took his genius sister outta some Alliance camp, so they're keepin' a low profile. You understand. You got a job, we can do it, don't much care what it is.
We're a brand new Firefly RPG set after the end of the series, and are looking for players of all kinds to join us. Be whatever and whoever you want in the 'verse, just have fun!

America 2015
Life as we know it has ended. The end of the world came swift and devastated the human populace. Though it wasn't exactly what we had imagined, it was a combination of nature and World War 3. We fought the war not only with soldiers but with nuclear missiles. The United States was prepared for the war, they had long since planted explosives within enemy nuclear facilities and when the war started, so did the fallout. American troops dominated the war against their fellow man, but they were no contender for the powers of nature. Earthquakes destroyed most of the West Coast, blizzards took the Mid-west and Hurricanes took both the East Coast and the Gulf of Mexico. The only continents that still house human life is North and South America. As if that wasn't bad enough there are things out in the world that we believed to be fictitious. Remember those bed time stories about the Bogeyman? They were real. So were the stories of monsters in the closest and the supernatural beings spotted throughout the world. Man-kind has been fighting them since and the human numbers have fallen from 100 million to less than 500,000. The creatures have been striking at every moment available.
The year is 2015 and it is not a pretty sight. Skeletons and decomposing bodies litter every street. Blood has stained the once white cement. Creatures hunt at all times of the day.

On 11th August 2007, 20 year-old Sophie Lancaster and her boyfriend Robert Maltby were kicked, stamped on and left unconscious – for nothing more than looking different. Sophie later died from her injuries.
In tribute to Sophie, Illamasqua has commissioned ‘Dark Angel’ – a short film by award-winning French director, Fursy Teyssier, that’s a haunting rendition of Sophie’s story, featuring the music of iconic British band, Portishead.
The aim of the film is to raise awareness of The Sophie Lancaster Foundation and generate £500,000 to help educate young people about tolerance. Since Sophie’s death, the Foundation has been working with behavioural experts Huthwaite International, to put together an interactive youth workshop that does just that.
But this essential education programme can only be delivered with your help.
We’re hoping to reach over 1,000,000 hits, so forward this page and help us spread the message. Dante squealed and cheered loudly, the epitome of fanboy glee as he watched his idol performing. He applauded wildly, ignoring the funny looks and worried glances he was garnering from the other party-goers.
He was possibly the only person at the masquerade to be completely fixated on the stage, and Lady Delish.
Tonks could only manage to nod as her head swam, the vampire's voice influencing her mind more easily than she had anticipated. "Yeah, sure!" she squeaked, and clapped her hand over her mouth as soon as she realised she had squeaked like a teenager.
She looked at Jane, and took her mask off so she had something to fan her face with, because she felt more than a little warm despite the October chill.
"Faaaaaarking 'ell!" Tonks remarked, and grinned at her friend. "Oi... Jane. Come back Jane! We all love you! Don't keep drooling all over your pretty dress, you'll ruin it!" Tonks could see now why Jane thought the vampire was good looking. He really was, in a cold, perfect, dead sort of way. She shivered a little, and hoped that Remus would shove up at the ball so she wouldn't have to dance with the vampire. Handsome he may have been, but she still didn't trust him not to eye up her veins.
*Shakes herself back to reality*

*squeaks at her friend, looking slightly crazed*

Tonks giggled, her face still flushed and looked at the vampire. He was standing talking to a redhead. Tonks shook her head and muttered, "Phwoar... He's better looking when you can't see those creepy eyes!"
She noticed a bit of a scuffle nearby, and saw a large man in red accosting a young girl. "Oi, Jane... bit of a palarver over there. Gonna go keep an eye, alright?" She nudged Jane and indicated the source of the fuss, and approached cautiously, turning her head back to Jane to make a "no rest for the wicked!" face.
Tonks took her wand out of her sleeve and held it close to her side as she approached. The man was huge, built like a miniature mountain and about six foot six in height. She thought she could hear a German accent. "Merlin!" Tonks breathed, hoping this would turn out to be nothing. As an Auror, she was brave, but she was damned if she'd get out of a potential fight with this bloke in one piece.

And then came the Joker. And Rachel died as courageously as she lived in the face of Horror. Her boss and lover, the new DA Harvey Dent, lost his mind as well as his face, sliding into the abyss a young Bruce had narrowly escaped more than once. No one could blame a maddened Dent for going after the mob bosses backing the Joker in a murderous fashion, but even as the Batman reached him enough to prevent him from murdering corrupt law officers complicit in the terrifying crime spree (because killing them shut down the pipeline of information to be gained, an act that would benefit only the criminal chiefs behind them), everyone knew the DA's custodial hospitalization was a gut blow to the city. But measured against it was two ships of frightened people who refused to partake in the Killing Joke. The story began a groundswell, the 'innocents' connecting with the 'cons' in a bizarre brotherhood and the tendrilling start of communication and alliance about what was needed for Gotham. The Joker's flamboyant psychosis led to public loathing of all loose cannons, seeing danger in anyone willing to put on a 'clown suit' and stalk the streets, for whatever reason. The Bat, whoever he was, had to be as crazy, if not more. He'd beaten the Joker after all, with the city as their private vendetta ground.
We are a DC based board, taking place after the films Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight. We are looking to bring the rest of the DC universe, particularly members of the Justice League, into the world established in those movies. **Celebrating Six Months!!**
More and more the world is hearing about them. Those that are different. The mutants. The metahumans. The freaks. While some are embraced as heroes like the Fantastic Four, others are still seen as a threat, like the Brotherhood, and yes even the X Men. The government has long had a hand in the control and experimentation of meta humans and mutants, now they too have come out into the open. S.H.I.E.L.D. has come to the forefront of both protection against those with special abilities and powers, and seemingly for those same people. After the incident at Alkali Lake and the Silver Surfer, there is no denying the presence of those different then us. Now with the surprise discovery of one of America's heroes survived frozen by Stark Enterprises, a new team is formed. The Avengers. Working in conjunction with S.H.I.E.L.D. they are the bright example that there is hope for coexistence.
We are a Marvel roleplay taking our cues from the movies and bringing Marvel into a more real world setting. Ophelia watched her father using the voice trick on the ladies, and shook her head. It was unnecessary, but still rather amusing to see. She waited for him to approach her, and said idly, "You know you don't have to do that, Daddy."
She smiled at him then and took his arm. "Have you spotted Dante yet?" she asked, her voice telling how amused she was by Dante's flamboyant costume.
Sanguini recognised the dress Ophelia was wearing as one of her late mother's. It suited her, just as it had suited Lilith.
"A stór, you look radiant," he said, taking her hand and bowing to her as though he did not know her, and she was just another masquerade guest. "And I am afraid I have no idea what you are talking about." He smiled then, and added, "I so rarely get to spend time around non-vampires who know what I am. Using my powers is... entertaining."
He rolled his eyes at her next question. "Unfortunately, yes," he replied scathingly. "Although I must confess myself thankful that he did not wear something purple and covered in glitter, as I feared he might. Shall we greet him, and make him aware of our presence?"
Sanguini sounded weary, but it was a good natured fatherly weariness. Dante puzzled him, and as a result they often clashed on numerous points. Ophelia, on the other hand, was easy to understand, and he got on well with her.
The music began, and he stepped away from her and bowed to her again. "First dance for you, choisle mo chroí," he said, and held out his hand for her to take with a smile.

It was just an ordinary day for Professor Dumbledore. Well as ordinary as any day could be for a wizard and a head teacher of the most prestigious wizarding school in the world. On this particular day Dumbledore was off to the Hogs Head for a drink and to interview Sybil Trelawney for a job at the school.
Everything was going just hunky dory, although he was disappointed with her performance as a seer he had been entertained greatly and enjoyed his afternoon out. But things were soon to get a lot more interesting as Sybil was about to make her first real Prophecy.
“…The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches…he shall lead an army. An army born within these five years and the largest war known to wizards shall commence…”
Well this certainly stirred his interests and with the fear that Sybil might be in more danger outside of Hogwarts he promptly gave her the job.
Severus Snape over heard the Prophecy, he had been sent by the Dark Lord to watch Dumbledores every move. He quickly returned to his master to reveal what he had heard. As the prophecy didn’t give much of a clue as to who would lead this army the Dark Lord decided upon sending his greatest Death Eaters out to destroy those children born to wizarding parents whom he deemed worthy enough to pose a threat to him. Among the list was Lily and James newborn baby Harry Potter. Although Severus cared nothing for the boy or James he couldn’t bare the thought of Lily being hurt and there was a high chance she wouldn’t survive the attack. So the night before the planned attack Severus stole away and warned Dumbledore of what was to happen. Dumbledore managed to warn all the families who were targeted in the attacks and protect Severus from being destroyed by the Death Eaters.
Ministry officials captured many of the Death Eaters and imprisoned them within the walls of Azkaban, were they have remained for fifteen years. The Dark Lord vanished, some say he died others haven’t been as naïve to believe he’d just disappear from the wizarding world…
Harry Potter is now in his 5th year at Hogwarts, he is as ordinary as any other 5th year wizard, however news of a mass break out at Azkaban has caused panic among the wizarding community. Talk that The Dark Lord isrising to power once more is spreading fast. Some believe that he has been raising an army to take over the wizarding world once and for all. Wherewill he strike first? Willthe Prophecy be fulfilled? Will a young wizard stand up and lead an army to defeat the Dark Lord?

Life Must Go On – A ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Torchwood’ RPG
”Torchwood: outside the government, beyond the police. Fighting for the future on behalf of the human race. The 21st Century is when everything changes -- and Torchwood is ready.”
Torchwood is currently looking for two new members to join their team in addition to their ‘unofficial’ bodyguard, Arwen. Owen and Toshiko have been killed, and the crisis with the 456 has been adverted. The Rift is acting up, and spilling alien life-forms and artifacts into Cardiff. The team is busier than ever, and become surprised when the Doctor visits.
"Doctor, you take care now." ... "You too. Chops and gravy, lovely!" ... "No. But you be careful because your song is ending, sir." ... "What do you mean?" ... "It is returning, it is returning through the dark. And then, Doctor... Oh but then, he will knock four times."
The Doctor had learned that he was not the only survivor of the time-locked Time War, and had taken on a Time Lord orphan of that war, Elita. However what Carmen, a low level psychic, had told him during his adventure to the Planet of The Dead gave him the chills. He too had sensed the Rift’s increasing activity and decided to investigate with his charge in tow.
Based on the television shows called “Doctor Who” and “Torchwood”, this RPG explores new possibilities provided by the unknown factors in the series. So please take a look and I hope you will stay!

Everything seems perfect. Disease doesn’t claim the lives of innocents. Starvation is a thing of the past. War is unheard of. Crime is rare. Muggles live in blissful ignorance of the Wizarding World. Everything seems to be in harmony. There’s just one catch…
You’re dead.
You’ve woken up to find you’re in a strange place. It seems like your home. It looks like your bedroom, your linens, and your drapes. Then suddenly it hits you- you’re not supposed to be here. You died. It’s clear as day now, the memory of your tragic death. Just then there’s a knock at the door and when you answer you’re greeted by a friendly face from the Ministry of Magic.
“Welcome to the Mirror,” the representative from the Ministry says. What everyone expected to happen after death: heaven, reincarnation, and various other theories, were false. Your soul has taken on the appearance of your body at the time you were happiest. You’ve only just noticed your youthful hands and how your body no longer creaks with old age.
Your life will continue, in a sense. There’s Quidditch, the Ministry of Magic, and people have jobs which are plentiful. People are encouraged to pursue what they love. Strangely, the afterlife is like life – without Death and without the feeling of time being against you. Everyone from the days of the founding of Hogwarts and through the Wizarding Wars is here.
Things in the Mirror are not always what they seem. A Death Eater in life may just want to run his potion shop without disturbance and forget all the terrible things that he had to do in order to survive. A member of the Order of the Phoenix may be criminal, heroics long forgotten. Former heroes may wish to live eternity in quiet bliss. Others may find courage they did not know they had. *sighs, hearing the start of her favorite Lady Delish song*
Tonks could only manage to nod as her head swam, the vampire's voice influencing her mind more easily than she had anticipated. "Yeah, sure!" she squeaked, and clapped her hand over her mouth as soon as she realised she had squeaked like a teenager.
She looked at Jane, and took her mask off so she had something to fan her face with, because she felt more than a little warm despite the October chill.
"Faaaaaarking 'ell!" Tonks remarked, and grinned at her friend. "Oi... Jane. Come back Jane! We all love you! Don't keep drooling all over your pretty dress, you'll ruin it!" Tonks could see now why Jane thought the vampire was good looking. He really was, in a cold, perfect, dead sort of way. She shivered a little, and hoped that Remus would shove up at the ball so she wouldn't have to dance with the vampire. Handsome he may have been, but she still didn't trust him not to eye up her veins.
"Would you like us to clean out your ears for you?" inquired George, pulling a long and lethal-looking metal instrument from inside one of the Zonko's bags. "Or any part of your body, really, we're not fussy where we stick this," said Fred.

*Hears the German snatcher nearby and almost snarls at the sight of him.*
*Plants a beaming smile on her face and makes her way over to the pair, hopefully he wouldn't recognize her and when he was least expecting it she would hex him so badly he'd wish he never questioned her blood.*
"Why, hello hello hello, I don't think we've met yet."
*Beams at them both and makes sure her mask is tightly in place.*

Ophelia watched her father using the voice trick on the ladies, and shook her head. It was unnecessary, but still rather amusing to see. She waited for him to approach her, and said idly, "You know you don't have to do that, Daddy."
She smiled at him then and took his arm. "Have you spotted Dante yet?" she asked, her voice telling how amused she was by Dante's flamboyant costume.
* glances around seeing if there is anyone that she can talk to and watches as the very pretty lady goes onstage and starts to sing. She thought she was pretty good. Turns around to walk towards a chair and accidently bumps into a large guy in a big red suit and her heart skips a beat. It felt like hitting a wall and she wondered if he even noticed she walked into the back of him.*
"I am very sorry sir."
* whispers with a bow of her head and she turns around to walk the other way thinking coming was a mistake. She was to nervous. Looks back to the girl singing. *
*Narrows his eyes at the girl through the mask and snaps*
Watch where you are going, ja?
*Decides to keep a close eye on her. Her nervous behaviour tells him that she has something to hide*
*Walks after her and says, his German accent obvious*
My apologies, bitte, young lady... I have been rude. Might I ask for your name?
Sanguini stepped closer to Jane and said in a sultry whisper, "I believe you are holding my cloak for me. Perhaps I could trouble you for a dance once the music begins?" He glanced over Jane's friend and smiled appreciatively. "And perhaps your charming young friend will grant me the same honour?"
He smiled at Tonks, his expression apologetic. "It would be ungentlemanly of me to ask you to dance first, when I am not in your acquaintance. I am dreadfully old fashioned, you see."
He tipped his hat to the ladies and stepped backwards.
"Come find Bauta when you are ready for a dance with one who truly has been to a Venetian masque, and knows all the old steps as though t'were only yester evening," he said, layering his voice with just a hint of his vampire influence, before walking towards his daughter to keep her company.

There was a cluster of activity around an ancient dig in Jordan. People all clamoring to see the lost tomb of the child ruler. The ruler's name was still unknown but the tribe was known as The Myradez. An ancient and believed magical sect of Islam. The tomb was excavated and quickly put on a world wide tour. After that....it was doomsday.
A simple act of Archeology has changed the Earth, and life as we know it. The unknown viral strain spread from patient Zero and the exhibit. At first it seemed the young were immune to it. It was spread not only by ar, but by touch, fluid exchange, everything. There was no safe haven, as the world leaders in their bunkers soon discovered. It only took a few months before the world was changed.
Those above the age of 21 lacked the proper immune system. First the symptoms resembld the flu. Fever, coughing, pale skin. But soon people began to die. The only problem was...they didn't stay dead. Zombies began to flood the streets, turning more and more people. But the younger people were completely immune...unless they were bit of course. But they soon began to develop incredible powers. That was almost 20 years ago. It's now 2032. Many have fallen to the zombies, but younger people have stepped up with new, even more incredible powers to fight.
The lines had been drawn. In cities all over the world Mankind's Legacy, a group of survivors began to spring up. But their enemies, the Chrch of Light also began to spring up. Both were out of Paradise City, a Northern California city. And this has become ground zero. Will they destroy each other, or will the zombies over run the planet?
